2025 Impact Report

Cochise Harm Reduction 2025 Impact Report – A Year of Growth, Connection, and Care

Our annual impact report highlights the powerful impact Cochise Harm Reduction (CHR) made in 2025. Through expanded outreach, harm reduction services, peer support, and food access efforts, we continued to meet people where they are across Cochise County with lifesaving resources, advocacy, and compassionate care.

Here’s what we accomplished together:

  • 8,910 total engagements
  • 31,964 total meals served
  • 21 zip codes served
  • 490 new participants welcomed
  • 11,890 naloxone doses distributed
  • 658 overdose prevention trainings provided
  • 23,855 care kits distributed
  • 83,007 syringes safely disposed
  • 169 overdose reversals reported
  • 313 peer navigation engagements
  • 211 justice advocacy navigations
  • 2,017 total navigations to services
  • 232 MAT/detox treatment navigations
  • 51,820 pounds of pantry items distributed
  • 16,000 total miles traveled

The report also reflects important participant outcomes. In 2025, 71% of participants reported overdose reduction, 80% said they were more likely to use sterile equipment, and 62% said they knew how to respond to an overdose.

Through CHR’s expansion of peer navigation, food access, and health stability work, participants reported improved hygiene, increased overall safety, reduced ER visits, stronger social connection, and a greater sense of purpose, showing that harm reduction is about far more than supplies alone.

In addition, 2025 marked major organizational growth for CHR, including expansion into Northern Cochise County, the launch of the Arizona Harm Reduction Coalition, the organization’s first annual convening in Bisbee, and national recognition as a Regional Center of Excellence in Harm Reduction.

At Cochise Harm Reduction, we’re not just providing services — we’re building a movement rooted in dignity, safety, and community care. Join us in creating a more just, compassionate, and equitable world for all.
