Board FAQs
What does being on the Board at CHR entail?
The current expectations of our Board Members include:
- Attending and participating in our monthly Zoom meeting
- Volunteering to table for CHR at the Farmers Market on quarterly basis
- Clerical work
- Organizing fundraisers
- Annual Board gatherings (1 per year)
How many monthly hours will be expected?
Approximately 5-10 hours per month
What roles are we looking to fulfill within our board?
Roles and skills we are currently looking for include:
- Executive/leadership experience for a non-profit
- Harm reduction experience
- Large scale fundraising experience
- Accounting/financial management/treasury experience
- Lived experience of surviving HCV, living with HIV, injection drug use, overdose, shelter insecurity, sex work
